Geometric and floral designs printed in Green party color of UNP with red overprint in central vertical band.

In Sinhala SRI SANGABODHI BANK on top center Banner, and centered at bottom in English, with Publisher THOWFEEK STORES COLOMBO in smaller letters below. Buddhist Era(BE) Year 2513 in four corners. On right Radiating portrait of Buddha facing forward left. On left drawing of Lankan king offering flowers facing right. Geometric and floral designs printed in Green party color of UNP with red in central vertical band.

The note design has been finely drawn by hand with the layout and design of the dark brown Rs 100 note which had been in circulation since 1952. Printed about 2% wider and 2% higer by two color 100 dpi block printing.
