In 1986 the Central bank changed it's English Name to Central Bank of Sri Lanka, although same name in Sinhala appears on notes since 1956-7-30. Bradbury Wilkinson was acquired by De La Rue in 1986, but Bradbury Wilkinson name continues on Currency Notes till 1990. However under De La Rue, Replacement notes were used as they had when De La Rue had printed the 1970 notes.
